Warranty
WARRANTY
All sewn gear is warranted for 2 Years for manufacturing and material defects. We want to fix those rare problems quickly and will pay for the return postage. Depending on the nature of the problem, we may repair, replace, or refund warranty returns. Small issues usually get repaired; refunds are rare. Ultralight gear requires reasonable care and treatment on the trail.
Our warranty does not cover the following:
Products that have been modified, neglected, or for commercial purposes such as rental, courier, police, security, etc., misused or abused, involved in accidents or anything other than normal use
Sarek Gear products purchased from an unauthorized dealer (Right now only Backpackinglight.se / .dk is authorized dealer)
Sarek Gear products purchased from third-party internet sites, including auction websites, and regional trading websites (examples: Amazon, eBay, and Blocket) are not covered under this warranty, even if you have a receipt
Normal wear and tear
Repairs.
Being that we make our products ourselves here in Umeå, in many cases, we can also repair them.
Products you buy from us should be complete and error-free at delivery. However, it happens sometimes that something is wrong and expectations are not met. In order to register a consumer complaint on a product, the error must have existed when you received the item.
In the case of an approved complaint, your product will be repaired in the first place, in the second place we will replace it with the same or equivalent and in the third place we will refund you for the product.
